About this course
LA 446 examines sustainability issues of concern to planners, such as resource conservation, urban growth, environmental justice, industrial development, social equity, sustainable agriculture, and economic development. It also presents holistic approaches to sustainable planning ranging from theoretical concepts to detailed case studies that combine urban and regional land use, physical design, and policymaking.
