Andrew Weiss

Biography

I am the Director of Planning for the Champaign Park District in Champaign, Illinois. I regularly serve as a visiting design instructor in Landscape Architecture for the Site Design Studio and Landscape Construction, as well as adjunct teaching in the School of Architecture. My research focuses on the repurposing of marginal space as a practice of design and material decomposition as a process of art. My Bachelor of Architecture degree is from the University of Illinois at Chicago and my Master of Landscape Architecture degree is from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
