About this course
LA 234 introduces site as the fundamental unit of landscape architecture. Through a review of canonical precedent projects, site visits and site analysis exercises, and an iterative design process, students will master common landscape architectural site design procedures. Lectures, peer review, tutorials, pin-ups, videos, and reading discussions will reinforce learning objectives. Throughout the semester, students are required to synthesize previous and concurrent coursework, building expertise and applying all skills gained to date.
Prerequisite: LA 233 or consent of instructor.
