Brief biography of Haemee Han
Haemee Han is a public artist, landscape designer, and educator. Since establishing Jaemee Studio, she has exhibited public art installations and garden installations in the United States, Europe, and Asia, including the International Garden Festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire, France.
Han’s work explores relationship between objects and personal/collective memories. Most of her works are occupiable objects/landscape where visitors can immerse themselves within the work.
Han is a registered landscape architect who practices in New Jersey. In addition to a BLA degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she earned a Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
