LA 250: Environmental Site Analysis

In this course, students are introduced to knowledge and skills in site research as part of your landscape architectural design process. Specifically, you will learn how to gather information, analyze, interpret, synthesize, and express environmental site systems, qualities, and conditions for the purpose of design. Site design research of our environment entails both natural and human systems, and the relationship between them. This process is both objective and subjective, technical and aesthetic. We will explore this at both the planning (large) scale and site-design (small) scale.

Prerequisite: GEOL 100, 101, 103 or GEOG 103 or consent of instructor.
