Chun-Yen Chang is Professor and Head of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at National Taiwan University in Taipei. Professor Chang is the first landscape scholar to measure the impacts of landscapes on human brain activity using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). He has published numerous articles in English and Chinese and is one of the world’s foremost experts in landscapes and human health.
Professor Chang is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Landscape Architecture (Taiwan) and the Coeditor-in-Chief of the Journal Landscape and Ecological Engineering. He has served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Outdoor Recreation Research (Taiwan), and as Delegate of International Federation of Landscape Architecture (IFLA) of Taiwan.
