Sasaki Day Award Winners Announced
The finalists presented their work to a jury that included members of our faculty, members of the department’s Resource Committee—Dave Frigo (Hitchcock Design Group), Michelle Inouye (AECOM), Mark Jirik (site design group), Phil Rosborough (Rosborough Partners), Susan Jacobson (Morton Arboretum), and Susan Ragaishis (Executive Director, IL-ASLA)—along with Adam White (IL-ASLA Membership Chair) and six previous Sasaki Day Award winners: Evan Blondell (MVVA), Hannah Cusick (OLIN), Heather Faivre (Teska), Anna Hochhalter (AECOM NYC), Bridgette Moen (Champaign County Forest Preserve District), and Shaney Peña Goméz (Shearly Initiative, Dominican Republic).
Award groups are Level 1: BLA Sophomore to Level 5: MLA Advanced, plus Levels A: Technology and Communication (Foundation), B: Technology and Communication (Advanced), and C: Independent Initiatives.
