Investiture Ceremony for D. Fairchild Ruggles Held
Mitchell (MLA 1975) was a longtime leader at SmithGroupJJR, an American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Fellow (1992), ASLA President (1992–1993), and an active board member of the Landscape Architecture Foundation, of which she also served as President (2000–2001). Endowed by Mitchell to support faculty scholarship in landscape architecture, this investiture is the first endowed chair ever awarded in our department.
