Description of event
Erlanger Evenings are academic events organized by Ph.D. students in the Architecture and Landscape Architecture programs at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Their objective is to create an interdisciplinary space of debate and crosspollination among students and faculty members.
This in-person event will feature the following presentations:
- Nikolai Alvarado (Assistant Professor, Department of Geography and Geographic Information Science), who will talk about urban infrastructures and migrant citizenships.
- Soumya Dasgupta (Ph.D. in Architecture student), who will talk about intersections of architectural history and postcolonial studies.
Moderators: Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture students Ana Valderrama and Sayak Roy.
All students are invited to come and experience this Ph.D. community event, strengthening connections among all program within our units.
